- I'd welcome hearing from anyone using the WSLPD's spooler
- I'm having some difficulties, and would welcome some assistance.
-
-
- In a nutshell, I am trying to define a LPD queue on my Windows
- machine and that should then be redirected to a LAN printer.
-
-
- So: I have:
-
- LPT3: is set up to be a NOS printer
-
- in print manager I define LPT3: as the current printer
- I then have a LPR queue called LPT4.TXT.
- I enable the TIS print Manager and Spooler
-
- I use MS-Write to print top the LPT4.TXT queue.
-
- I turn off the spooler.exe, expecting to see the job
- arrive in the c:\spool\nlpd directory ... which it does
- in that directory I see a CFA file and in that refernces to a DFA file
- which is also in that directory.
-
- I can step thru and see the submitted print job 'stuck in the queue'
- using teh LPR clients 'lpq'. When I reenable the spooler.exe
- and go 'print' then the queue gets emptied, but nothing comes out the red
- irected printer.
-
- Any suggestions would be most welcomed, ps: the Windows print manager
- see the LPT3: as the current printer and the 'control panel/printers/
- "use print manager" is active.
-
- H E L P ... I must be close :)

- First of all, get the latest version of PC Eudora (14 Beta 18), available on
- ftp.qualcomm.com as pce14b18.exe.
